Micro-D (M) Sdn Bhd was established in January 1991 by a group of experienced managers from Malaysia and Singapore with an initial paid up capital of RM100,000.00. The authorized and paid up capital has then increased to finance our expansion plans; from RM500,000.00 in 1993 to RM1,200,000.00 by end of 1996. Five years later and despite going through two global economy slowdown, Micro-D has expanded rapidly. In 2001, our paid up capital has been increased to RM 2,200,000. Since then our success thus far has been very gratifying and everyone in the family who contributed to it shares with a feeling of great pride. Surging forward, we intend to stick to our proven strategy of being early-to-market with leading-edge products at competitive prices. One of Micro-D's greatest strengths and assets is the extensive network of organizations that sells our product lines to the end-users. The breath, diversity and vitality of the distribution channels have fueled the company's growth. At Micro-D, we pride ourselves on responsiveness to our customers. This quality is delivered not only in our products, but also in our relationships with customers, vendors, the financial community and employees. Much of our success can be attributed to the strength of our customer base, which includes virtually all of the leading personal computer manufacturers, value-added resellers, system integrators and retailers. Our ability to build and maintain strong relationships with them has been a key to our success these past years. We will continue our successful distributor channel marketing approach, by growing our sales within established channels. In particular, we believe that the PC market will grow tremendously with vast opportunities for notebook and communications products. The outlook for our industry and the economy in general remain good with scope for tremendous growth. |
